Asian Oasis Opens Lanjia Lodge in Chiang Rai Asian Oasis has opened Lanjia Lodge in Chiang Rai province in northernmost Thailand. It is located on a hillside overlooking the Mekong River and Laos. The local villagers are Hmong and Lahu tribes. The lodge consists of four local-style thatched cottages. Each features a shared living area and four bedrooms. Each lodge is equipped with a private bathroom with warm water and basic amenities. Guests will have an opportunity to visit the shaman's house and observe various aspects of Hmong and Lahu cultures. Contributions from guest visits will be used to support community projects that will improve local living conditions and preserve hilltribe customs. The Landmark Bangkok Launches ‘U Choose’ Package The Landmark Bangkok is offering a new package for meetings and events organisers with one of three options that can be chosen to best suit the requirements of the organiser and the budget. The package is applicable to events in which delegates stay a minimum of three nights in the hotel, and with a minimum of 10 paying rooms. The cost per delegate is Baht 6,000++ per single room night and Baht 6,500++ per twin room night, with daily international buffet breakfast included. Organisers choose from 1) having the third room night free of charge for delegates, or 2) upgrading to Club Room with full Club benefits included, or 3) having complimentary round-trip airport transfer, or 4) having a complimentary full-day meeting package at the hotel. The package runs until the end of June.
